My GSoC project was building a test runner for VLC&rsquo;s Lua modules with a mocked backend (I&rsquo;ll get into what that means below).</p> <p>I would like to thank my mentor, Alexandre Janniaux, for helping me find my way around the VLC codebase, showing me how tests are written and how VLC internals its modules and object trees, giving me ideas for the project itself, and pointing me at tools like Gcov and Jujutsu along the way.</p>
